Irrigation and nutrition
Drip fertigation with nutrition delivered to each plant. The nutrient solution is monitored by electrical conductivity and pH, and adjusted to what the crop needs.
Crop health
Integrated pest management that puts prevention and biological control with beneficial organisms first.
Substrate
Soilless growing in controlled substrates, with traceability by lot from the greenhouse to the shipment.
Water and energy
Drip irrigation aimed at efficient water use, and a design meant to make the most of the sunlight. The most efficient operation is also the most responsible towards the land around Lagos de Moreno.

The process
From transplant to truck.

01 Transplant
The seedling arrives.
Seedlings selected for health, uniformity and vigour from the start. They are received, acclimatised and transplanted into their final substrate. Each lot is given an identifier that travels with the product to the shipment.

02 Growth
It grows and is trained.
The plant is trained upwards, formation-pruned, and the nutrient solution is adjusted continuously. Daily monitoring of the environment and of leaf development.

03 Harvest
It is picked by hand.
Hand picking, plant by plant, at the target ripeness for each variety. Lots are labelled on the spot and sent straight to the packing house.

04 Packing
It is graded and chilled.
After harvest the fruit is graded by size, packed according to its destination and held under controlled conditions. Traceability records by lot and food safety certificates.

05 Dispatch
The shipment leaves.
Shipped to the customer in refrigerated transport, with full export documentation. Shipments are scheduled to preserve freshness and meet the customer's requirements.
